Unfortunately as Celebrants, while we can deliver a wedding ceremony, we do not have the ability to legally marry you. You will need to complete the legal formalities at your local Registry Office (or religious venue if applicable).
We are more than happy to help you to understand the process around legal marriage.
Celebrants offer couples the ability to truly personalise their celebration ceremony. We do not have the same location, timing and content restrictions that a Registrar would and therefore can give you the ceremony you have been dreaming of.
Ceremonies can be made more romantic, traditional, whimsical or even funny depending on your preferences and style as a couple.
Our ceremonies are £400. This includes all planning meetings, preparation of the ceremony script and attendance on the day.
To book your ceremony date we require a £150 non-refundable deposit. A further £150 will be payable the earlier of your planning meeting or 6 weeks before your ceremony and the remaining balance is payable no later than 14 days before your ceremony.
We are very happy to travel across East Anglia. Travel to ceremonies within 25 mile of CB1 3FB is free and mileage beyond this is charged at 45p a mile..
This depends on you as a couple. A ceremony can be as short as 15 minutes or as long as an hour. We offer you the ability to add readings, personal vows, guest speeches, personal promises and any other elements you may wish to include
Dislike public speaking? We can plan a ceremony with minimal speaking for one or both of you but still find a way to incorporate those personal stories and a style that reflect your personalities.
Of course! Your ceremony should include whoever you want and we love to see the people (or pets) you love the most get involved.
We can make suggestions of ways to involve other people in your ceremony or are happy to incorporate your own ideas into the celebration.
If you wish to honour lost loved ones within your ceremony we can also incorporate moments of remembrance and reflection.
As a celebrant we normally aim to arrive at your venue an hour before your ceremony time. This allows us to make sure everything is ready for your ceremony and to meet with either partner for any final queries.
Whilst we hope to be a special part of your day, we don't want to overstay our welcome and will depart the venue once you have made your exit from your ceremony with your guests.
Every booking enquiry will have an introductory call or virtual meeting to allow you to meet your Celebrant, ask any questions you may have and to ensure you feel we are right for your celebration.
Around 6 weeks before your celebration we will have a planning meeting where we can discuss all elements of the ceremony and what you would like included. Following this your celebrant will email over a draft ceremony script for your review and comment.
A week before your ceremony a further meeting or call will take place to finalise the ceremony, make any last minute changes and answer any final questions you may have.
We absolutely love a themed wedding or celebration. Please just let us know at one of your planning meetings and we will do our best to join in the fun!
Yes. As Celebrants we have no restrictions around including spiritual or religious music, readings, imagery or content.
We always aim to speak with venues prior to your big day to understand their expectations and requirements from us.
We are very used to working alongside photographers and videographers and will do everything in our power to position you as a couple for the best photo opportunities and maximum exposure. Where possible we will position ourselves out of photos (such as that important first kiss!).
Make up or hair overrunning? Our Celebrants will only ever have one ceremony in a day so can accommodate a late start to your celebrations.
In the highly unlikely scenario that your Celebrant is too unwell to conduct your ceremony we do have standby Celebrants available to step in at short notice.
Where possible we will of course look to move your booking to your new date. Please get in touch as soon as possible if this is the case.
